Fellowship

On Friday nights, Covenant Word Church has weekly fellowship meetings, and we sit down and share a meal together. These meetings offer opportunities where we can see each other on a more personal level, learn about our brothers and sisters in Christ, encourage one another and become more like family. These actions are described in the Word of God which talks about the Church growing daily.

What is Fellowship?

Fellowship is sharing the lives of each other in love and encouragement. It is being there for each other and being genuinely interested in your brother’s or sister’s life. It is becoming a family just as God has designed.

Is it Biblical? YES!

Acts 2:42 “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”

Acts 2:46 “And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart.”

Acts 2:47 “Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”
