1. What kind of church is Covenant Word Church?
We are a non-denominational, Bible-based, Spirit-led church. We believe God’s Word is living and relevant today, and we teach it without compromise—always with grace and understanding.
2. What are your service times and what happens during them??
Sunday service begins promptly at 10:00 AM with contemporary worship followed by a message from Pastor Kevin Kerr. Communion is held on the first Sunday of the month and during prayer services on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Services usually last around 90 minutes.
3. What is the worship like?
Expect passionate, upbeat worship music—modern songs rooted in Scripture. The lyrics are displayed for everyone to follow along, and you’re welcome to sit, stand, clap or lift your hands as you feel led.
4. What should I wear?
Casual Attire – Come as you are. You’ll see everything from the Key West, shorts & flip flops, jeans, business casual to dress clothes. We care far more about hearts than wardrobes.
5. What about my kids?
Children participate in worship, then head to Children’s Church for age-appropriate teaching and activities. All teachers are background-checked and love helping kids grow in their relationship with God.
6. Do you livestream or record services??
Yes—our services are livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube. You can also watch past sermons anytime at cwckw.org.
7. How can I get involved or serve?
CWC is a family, and there’s a place for everyone to be a part of CWC Family, to use your talents and gifts.—Serving in the church is a way to worship God with music, media, helps ministry, children’s church, or hospitality.
8. How do I give?
Giving options include online at cwckw.org/give, through the mobile app, or in person during service. We teach Biblical stewardship: giving is worship, not obligation.
9. Is Covenant Word Church part of a denomination?
CWC is Non- Denominational. We operate independently as a local body under pastoral leadership.
10. What if I’m not sure what I believe yet?
You’re welcome here. Many of us started right where you are—curious, searching, unsure. You don’t have to have it all figured out to come. Just come. and begin your journey with Jesus – to live the abundant- victorious life he gives us.
11. Where are you located and where do I park?
We’re at 5580 MacDonald Avenue, Key West, FL 33040. Free parking is available on-site, and our ushers will help direct you when you arrive.
